  6. Answer. The book suggests that an overactive liver can create a physiological impulse which the left brain interprets as "anger," and habitual responses are then built into one's self-image. This creates a pathological state and therefore an unnatural one.

  8. Answer. Heru Shang, previously known as Seka, ascended the throne of Kamit after a seven year war, ruling for two thousand years. He quieted the country, slew the evil-hearted ones, and restored Kamit's strength in the name of Amen.

  10. Answer. Net-Ra is described as the creator of the world, the universal mother who made the germ of gods and men. Her warrior qualities are signified by a pair of crossed arrows and her position as the patroness of soldiers and armies.
  11. Question. What was Set's role in creating the first imperialist state and what did he do to alienate man from God?
  12. Answer. Set created the first imperialist state by replacing moral upliftment with a policing system, ruling through fear and violence. Set separated religion from the state, God from nature, and spirit from physical matter, creating a system of division and segregation.
  13. Question. Briefly describe the story of Ausar and Set, and what does this myth represent?
  14. Answer. Ausar was a Kamit king who brought peace and prosperity until his brother Set killed him out of jealousy. The story highlights the conflict between the spiritual and the sensual and the struggle for power.

  16. Answer. The book attributes impotence to various causes, including overwork, a sedentary lifestyle, worry, excitement, and the abuse of sexual power, leading to a run-down bodily system with little stamina.

  20. Answer. Kheperaunghkti is an elder known for his ability to foretell the stars through observing the night sky, renewing his power and connection with the cosmos. He is also known for using twigs or stones and earth to create charms which allow him to maintain his peace and quiet.
